There are many tour and package options centred in and on the Whitsunday’s. They can range in price and length, but may include some time cruising on the water. There are day or half day cruises to the different Islands. Some may include dinner on board or a champagne picnic on the beach at the destination. Some tours might include an overnight stay or perhaps some daytime sea kayaking or ocean or river rafting. There are options to sail your own boat and choose your own route and timetable, or perhaps take a dive tour experience. There are crocodile safaris or tall ship adventures; there are catamarans to negotiate and jet skis and fishing trips. There are canoes and sleepovers on deserted islands.
The information centre at Shute Harbour has details of prices and times and availability of all of these packages and tours. And then of course there are all the land and air options.

I came across this site whilst browsing for a Queensland holiday and I must admit I was looking at Cairns as a destination, but I am blown away with all of the amazing holiday experiences that can be had in the Whitsundays area.
From what I have read so far, the Whitsundays have much more to offer at such reasonable prices. I am now actively pursuing all of these options. Great site, and thanks for all of the info. I shall be visiting within the next 12 months.
